Karinthip Village uses a flying elephant fully dressed as a memorial of the history. Karinthip means an elephant from the heaven, therefore, the resort name was created, Karinthip Village The elephant standing right in front of the resort was named Karinthip. Karinthip was fully dressed to remind people of the white elephant that carried the relic to Doi Suthep. At the time the owner planned to develop this land, she had a dream of a white elephant staying right where it is right now and a building in front of her with Colonial Architecture.
