Visa

Depending on your nationality and purpose of travel, you may need a visa to enter into a foreign country. Your visa will be checked before you board a flight and upon arrival at destination. Prior to travel, passengers are recommended to find out important travel information or regulations at repective embassies, as each country has different requirements for foreign nationals' entry.

To enter Laos, a passport valid for at least six months is required for all nationals. In addition, some nationals will require visas to enter Laos.

Laos has entered mutual agreements with some countries to grant visa exemption to visitors. For some countries the visa waiver scheme applies to all passports (Diplomatic, Service and Ordinary) but for others only certain passport types.
